No Blogs Barred is maintained by Jordan Garretson, a senior majoring in journalism and sports studies at the University of Iowa. Jordan is in his fourth year with The Daily Iowan, the University’s student-run newspaper, where he is currently the lead Iowa football beat writer. I wish there had been an organization like this when I was going to school and also when my daughter was going to school. Bullying has been going on for quite sometime and I am glad to see that an organization like wwe has taken the steps to stop bullying. I believe that a child needs to be taught while they are very young, how to treat others with respect and dignity. One way in which I am hopefully joining forces to stop bullies is with my new children’s book, “Berryville Bully,” It is a story about a town called Berryville and how two berries deal with another berry who the bully in the story. It is a simple story with colorful pictures in which young children can learn at least one way in which to deal with a bully in a non-violent way.
